The effluent BODu loading rates were determined by adding the calculated CBODu and NBODu loading rates. BODu removal efficiencies for each treatment category were then computed from the influent (I) and effluent (E) BODu loading rates according to Equation 2.4. Table 2-11 presents the calculated BODu removal efficiencies by municipal wastewater treatment type and corresponding effluent BODu concentrations.
