and commercial uses. In addition to the waste disposal and chemical storage capabilities provided by the existence of the salt dome, the park is directly served by interstate pipeline systems and includes nearly 3 mi of frontage on the Missouri Pacific Railroad. Highway and water transportation are readily available as well as access to international markets through the Port of Houston. The planned utilization program for the Dayton HIFI Technology Park is summarized in Table 1.
