2.1.2 Land Area Required

The land area estimates derived in this section are used with the information in Table 2.1 and Table 2.2 to determine, with a study of the maps, whether suitable sites exist for the process under consideration. These preliminary area estimates are very conservative and are intended only for this preliminary evaluation. These estimates should not be used for the final design.
